This update adds minor tweaks and adds Ambient Occlusion settings for LW 11.5 and higher.

Changes since V1.6.1b:

• Changed the label of the "Toggle VIPER" button to "Show/Hide VIPER" to make the functionality more clear.
• Changed the "Store all VIPER Buffers" function to only do so during a single frame render to prevent a performance hit when rendering sequences in Layout.
The label has been changed to "Store all Buffers (F9)" to reflect the new behaviour.
• "Review Settings" now detects duplicate output file names.
• Slight, potential, performance improvements when writing files across a network on windows.
• Added a tab to set the options for the AO buffer in LW 11.5 and higher
• Minor speed optimisations due to switching to more recent compilers on all platforms

  • Flipping a single channel now occurs before the processing options for a buffer to ease working with RSMB
  • Fixed a crash when saving normal images with alpha but the alpha channels wasn't actually activated by the user
  • If LW is rendering stereo frames but the %eye% variable is not used then exrTrader will add _L or _R to the frame name just before the frame number
  • Fixed a cross platform issue when subdirectories where explicitly defined in the output file. The slashes are now converted depending on the host platform
  • Fixed a rare crash when no alpha was selected for saving

A small update to exrTrader:

Changes since V1.6:

  • Fixed a GUI refresh issue where the current colour space was not displayed properly.
  • Fixed a crash in the normal image saver in LightWave 10.0 due to unexpected metadata.
  • In LightWave 10.0 the default colour space for output files would not be used due to a bug in the colour spaces SDK. This has been fixed on our side.
